We stayed at Ranjit's SVAASA when we first arrived in India and the night before we left. On arrival we were greeted by the staff and welcomed to our beautiful and very spacious bedroom and relaxation space. The house itself has some real historic significance and you can feel the warmth and colour of India throughout its beautifully decorated halls and guest spaces. This is a family run business, we found the family to be very interesting and incredibly accommodating and helpful. Vishaal and his twin brother helped us plan and figure out our entire trip in India, helping us with hotel bookings, flights and train travel, they were brilliant, we were very appreciative. They really went out of their way to help us. Though the hotel is not on the golden temple's door step it is a very short drive away and actually works perfectly as it allows some sense of peace as the temple is very busy. Our driver was brilliant and really looked after us particularly when I fainted at the temple. Whilst you're here take time to enjoy an ayurvedic massage at the spa at Ranjit's SVAASA.

The breakfast was marvellous and sensational for the rates charged, with variety of YUMMY options. The rooms were luxury with a comfortable design, plus the bathroom was good.

The ambiance of the courtyard restaurant, set amidst lush greenery, was a good experience, especially for breakfast.
The hotel did not provide complimentary transportation to the airport.

Location: the hotel was near to the amazing Golden Temple, the centre of a typcal Indian city with good access to airport railway station and the Golden Temple and interior gardens. The services were exceptional. Extra heater were not a big deal too.

A peaceful gem in Amritsar 🌿
Staff were super friendly, and that rose tea upon arrival? Just wow! Breakfast in the garden with fresh parathas was a lekker highlight.
Room was chilly at times, but they had a heater, so not a biggie.

a great place to unwind with good Ayurvedic spa and very tastefully designed resort .
the service in the restaurant appeared a bit slack but was not sure if it was due to staff shortage but once you got their attention you were seen to .

Did not like anything> not value for money
Ranjit svaasa was a total dissappointment. In the garb of heritage hotel, these people are in fact pushing a dingy hotel, with dingy rooms, dirty linen, dirty bathrooms with broken fittings and lizards in the room as a dressing. The breakfast layout was simply hopeless, serving stale cake, and even after 30 minutes my order was not served and I had to leave after eating d stale cake. The staff is very poorly dressed, no uniform and the hotel in general is dirty. Would not advise to stay. The price being charged is not worth it

A relaxed hotel and well located in Amritsar.
Not really up the standard you would expect at the price. Limited menu and no bar.

The staff were very cooperative and accommodating. We particularly appreciated our driver, who took us in to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to the Wagah border closing ceremony and who made sure that we got to where we were supposed to go.

The Luxury Room was super spacious and comfy, with a massive bed that was just perfect for a cozy night. The bathroom was nice too, particularly the shower, which worked great. I loved the unique decor throughout the place. The WiFi was solid enough for some streaming. Can't forget to mention the breakfast was delicious. There were so many choices! The room had this relaxing vibe that helps you unwind after a busy day exploring Amritsar.
